The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating menopausal disorder, containing a barley sprout extract or a fraction thereof. The present invention further relates to a method for preventing or treating menopausal disorder including a step of injecting the pharmaceutical composition, and a food composition containing the extract or the fraction thereof. The barley sprout extract of the present invention improves osteoporosis which is one of major bone hemostatic disorders, and also promotes expression of estrogen receptors regulating secretion of female hormones, thereby being used in drugs and foods for preventing, ameliorating, or treating menopausal disorder including the symptoms described above.COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019
