FIELD : medicine.SUBSTANCE : invention relates to surgical dentistry. Disclosed is a method of calculating the volume of bone-substituting material when planning a guided bone regeneration operation, involving cone-beam computed tomography, taking impressions, making models, characterized by that the manufactured models are scanned, their scans are obtained in .STL format, then the cone-beam computer tomography data in .DICOM format and scans of models in .STL format are loaded into Avantis 3D program and based on obtained data "grid" is constructed, and reference points are used to compare cone-beam tomography and scans with further installation of implants in orthopedic profitable positions, further, a surgical template is made and the anatomical features of the alveolar crest are simulated and the exact volume of bone-substituting material required for targeted bone tissue regeneration is measured.EFFECT : invention provides reduced time of operation, reduced postoperative complications, reduced overexploitation of bone-substituting material.1 cl, 12 dwg |
