Side-wall inner panels (4 and 5) have horizontal flange parts (9, 10) which form lateral extension surfaces of the load floor, and there are two separately removable load trays (7 and 8) which have brackets (18) projecting from their lower face supported directly on the floor panel (1). The two load trays (7 and 8) may be arranged so that they can be swung up and removed and can be supported individually or together in their swung-up position by a single stay located in the centre. The forward end of the load floor is formed by a fixed intermediate member which, together with the load trays (7 and 8) may be designed as one-piece plastics components.
